This. If anyone has seen him play, he's a Napier clone. Flair for the dramatic, seems to have balls of steel, and has already made countless clutch shots in his career.
Definitely not. If memory serves me correct, Marquette has a top 5 basketball budget nationally. Private jet for recruiting trips and other needs I believe, stays in 5-star hotels road trips etc. Great facilities, fan base, playing in better conference (A10's year was a senior heavy...
Certainly a piss poor showing for the NBE, and it feels good to have the better end of the deal right now.
But I can't agree that this is foreshadowing to their demise into relative obscurity. They've recruited just about as well as any conference in the country this year (6 teams in the top...
Sucks for DHam and any potential pub UConn would have received for it. But to be perfectly honest I've thought for the past couple of years the Jordan game has done the better job with collection/selection of talent. Just doesn't have as much name recognition.
Jordan brand can pull 5th year...
Well Pitt did get a top 20 2016 player at the beginning of the year. The kicker: it's a CT kid. SF Mustapha Heron. Agree they normally never recruited at an extremely high level per recruiting rankings. Anything can change with a verbal, but for the time being this is certainly a nice early...
If anyone is looking to grab some drinks/food before the game and are unfamiliar with the area, there are plenty of bars/restaurants in the Easton ave or George street areas. About 5-10(max) minute drive.
There is a Brother Jimmy's near the train station, George St ale house has some great...
UConn and Cuse fans absolutely brought an electricity to the BET. We as fans will probably never experience something like the BET tourney again and I think we can all agree that the old BET was always the highlight of the season (unless we won a nat'l champ).
That being said, we and Cuse were...
UConn- 73
BCU- 70
Just have to hope the 3 pointer doesn't fall for them, hasn't really yet this year, and they live and die by the 3.
Also, despite their woes BCU still has two NBA prospects in Anderson and Hanlan. Have to hope someone can stop Anderson inside.
Nothing to see here. Doesn't effect anything except the ability of coaches to evaluate players solely at games. Kids should be fine. But then again it is the NCAA, so who the hell knows.
This is a fruitless endeavor, and honestly seems like grasping at straws. If you are trying to compare UCONN to PC sure, I guess this could be a factor although highly unlikely. Plus I'd be willing to bet that NC State and Florida have comparable if not larger Muslim communities.
A kid...
Going back to the original point of this thread, it's been austin, Ledo and Dunn as other posters have said. Although I don't see Ledo as a moot issue because he didn't play. I actually think that may have been the most significant from a talent perspective as I believe he was the highest...
