I spent a number of years making pizza in Connecticut in my younger days (mid 80's-mid 90's), from Danbury to Storrs to a small southern Fairfield county chain, and never saw anybody grab a fork or a knife when a pizza was put in front of them.

I didn't see any evidence of a taunt, and as I noted in my post above, I don't think the fan even saw Flip until just before he ran into him. I watched it frame-by-frame, the kid's head was turned, was on his phone, and wasn't watching where he was going.
