maybe I’m totally wrong but in all the successful realignment bids over the years is it not quite rare to have reports of “hard no” votes against a school that is ultimately added? Seems there’s usually a consensus when it happens, and frankly there should be. Not a great way to be welcomed...

It is so wild to hear these podcasters saying ESPN has their thumb on the scale for UConn here. We’ve been navigating the wasteland of post-realignment college athletics, essentially homeless for over a decade. ESPN has never done a damn thing for us and I don’t see why they’d start now.
