Hard to compete with a coach who can do whatever he wants without any silly ethics issues to worry about.
Boggles my mind that the good, solid citizens, of Kansas have bought into whatever he sold them so soundly that he can not be fired for the wrongs he's committed that could (potentially?) cost the school scholarships, suspensions, bans from post season play, etc. (although with the NCAA that will likely never happen to Kansas).
It's not like he's Calhoun or any other coach who's won more than one championship.

The head basketball coach Kansas, no matter who it is, can do no wrong short of murder.
If the NCAA was a legitimate organization, Self, K, Penny, Pearl, Wade, Miller and a few more - all would have a day in court but instead they search the corners of obscure programs and deal out punishment - except for UConn, the NCAA whipping boy

Bill Self is so misunderstood. He is just trying to help the kids. He cant help every kid so he focuses on the stars.

I originally just typed Self, without Bill, but it was too Chief like.

Try to understand their side though. wth is there out in Kansas besides corn fields? Theyve got nothing else besides basketball and cant afford to lose it.
