I have not followed recruiting that closely this off season. Will the staff fill the last two scholarships? If so, who are we in good position to land? It seems like its getting late.

That's the only thing that somewhat worries me with only 3 upperclassmen and TL, but if UK and Puke can do it so can KO without all 5 stars.

Can't see the grid for some reason.

Having two senior starters should offset the experience gap a little IMO. Plus redshirt larrier.

Less experience next year yes. Talent and depth of talent yes. Penetrating and potential excellent guard play including defense yes.
Hungry and 10 toes in united Huskies? I think so!

This team is going to be totally different from last year. Looking forward to watching 5 new players year. We are definitely going to struggle. Hoping they are solid by the end of the year. Sorta like Rip, Kevin, Jake, etc....

Not our style to have only 4 players that have put in serious time on a Uconn court. Still like our dog in the fight though. Need big step-ups from Facey and Enoch to become catch and score type players.

Amazing that we still have 2 schollies open... Would be nice to find another Dove or Sheffer or Giffey overseas to fill one of those spots.... like old times.

What we really need is a swing forward with experience who can hit the outside shot, rebound, push the break, and facilitate. :(

What we need are some Juniors. This imbalanced class is going to cause problems down the line.

Actually, I disagree. The eight freshmen and sophomores in next year's class will be the core of the team for three years straight... great opportunity to build a strong, experienced team for 2018-2019 and beyond.

But then the cycle repeats and you need to get a killer class again in a few years. It also leads to young team/NIT years. And if you whiff on that big class (don't get enough guys, they're not as good as you hoped), you can be in big trouble and string together multiple NIT years and then you really start to damage the program's ability to recruit and the next big class is bad and then you're Rutgers.

I've got faith in Ollie, but from a risk management standpoint big classes are not ideal.

It feels weird to know the incoming freshmen (should they stay all 4 years) will still be at UConn in the 2020s. It seems like it became the 1990s about 15 minutes ago.

Facey is my guess
That's an OK lineup against Central but what about good teams? The reason we weren't totally destroyed in rebounding last year was that Daniel Hamilton was getting 8-10 per game, unusual for his size and position. Who is going to pick up that slack? We need a beast down low, and I hope KO is going to pull one out of his hat.

That's why getting Jackson would be so important. Think he's a day 1 starter at the 4 - sort of in a DeAndre Daniels mold. Facey better suited as an energy big off the bench.
