So ready to get the season underway. I hope the team isn't too distracted by the Florida weather and Florida girls. Does anyone know anything about this Indiana team. I found the writeup on the weekend matchups on UConn's site but other than that I don't know much. It seems that Indiana and Purdue are solid teams and Ohio State maybe not so much. http://www.uconnhuskies.com/sports/m-basebl/spec-rel/021612aaa.html
b10 baseball has been weak lately. so i'm not exactly expecting to get beat up this weekend. that said day 1 and all we could be facing a barnes type kid for them...
I heard from a reliable source that Ryan Moore will be starting in right field this afternoon. Great athlete defensively and on the base paths. Just needs to be able to hit a little to keep his starting spot. Also will be used in relief
Following on twitter the Minnesota vs Louisville game was delayed with 2 outs in the 9th and I think cincinatti and purdue follow that game then it's our game so we'll see if the weather clears who would have thought that the weather in CT would be better then that in Florida for baseball.
FWIW Pitt's game (being played at the same stadium we are playing at) is currently in the bottom of the 5th. 1) Seems the weather is good enough to play at least for the time being 2) Even without weather delays, this game probably won't end until 4, pushing our starting time towards the 4:30-5:00 range. This always happens with these invitationals.
Just noticed I'm a moron but the weather will likely be the same since its only 15-20 miles apart guess its not raining now so I hope we get this in today
so so far: wvu beat nw usf beat usf iowa beat pitt nd is up right now over ill cincy vs purdue delayed shu vs psu delayed and moved to 2night at AL what else?? lville game?
They split the usf team in half and they played each other? LOL! but Minnesota was up over the ville by 4 with 2 outs in the 9th last time i heard
