WWJD? JC. Calhoun, not Christ. He woiluld say NFW.

Plus, it benefits the unholy Jesuits at this time, not us.
Their hoop teams s*ck. football will not get us into the Atlantic Cracker Conference. It's a trick. Don't fall for it. Warde needs to grow a sack.

We need home and homes with teams from the it conferences. This makes sense.

I get that people don't want to give in and play BCU but I would much rather beat the crap out of them on the field/court than just talk crap about them here based on hypotheticals. (two aren't mutually exclusive of course)

Pride goet before the fall.(its not cometh)
After what the BC AD bragged about have we lost all self-respect.
Our AD should be fired and replaced by someone who actually has pride in the institution they work for.

You hayseeds can keep fighting that battle - fine bit of good that sort of dimwitted thinking has done for us thus far.

Anyone on this board who doesn't think this series should restart is absolutely out of their freaking minds. yes, they're jerks. But Flipper did such an excellent job driving their program into the ground they need us as much as we need them. The only thing -- only thing -- that recommends against this is this hurts strength of schedule. other than that game freaking on.

Huh? Kissing their behind will get us somewhere? Laughable. Ignoring them for years and spiting them cost us? Apparently it was FSU and the rest of the 'hayseeds' down south. Not the Jesuit hate lobby

You guys are not getting it. Getting home and homes from teams in the power five conferences is about to get real tough. If ward can pull this off with,BC he should get a raise.

We're not kissing their behind, we kicking their behind. Would you rather we be playing Liberty again? T
You're not spiting them, you're spiting yourself.

It will put many many fans in the seats. Rivalries build the product, especially regional rivalries. I dislike BC but I'll take it.

The best news to come down the pike (pun intended) in some time! Our very own back yard brawl! Home and home every Thanksgiving Saturday for the New England Cup.

This is so natural it reeks of ignorance with what took place in the past years. I say the words of Marvin Gaye all the way....
Lets Get It On!!!! ........

Better for the University of Connecticut if we build a yearly rivalry with BCU rather than UMass. Both games would probably be broadcast nationally. Only difference is BCU will be on the deuce and UMass on some website no one will/can access. We need as many eyes on our games as possible and BCU offers that at this point.

There comes a time where you have to forget the past but take those memories and let them motivate you to dominate the future.

Don't get the angst of getting a series with BC. You wanna fill the Rent, get Rutgers, Syracuse, BC, even UMass on the schedule. Like CAHUSKY said, regional rivalries are what college sports are all about. No ones gonna be excited to play Tulane but people are gonna come out to watch us play BC. The past happened, get over it and let's get this series started back up. We need whatever we can get on our schedule once we enter AAC full-blown (post RU, 'Ville)

Seriously. It's a guaranteed sell out for both teams; people who think we shouldn't play need to . It's all about local rivalries to build a fanbase. If you dont believe that look at last year's attendance. umASS was our second highest home turnout behind only homecoming vs Temple, That's more fans than NC State, and national TV games vs. PITT and Cincy. A rivalry (that goes beyond message board sh!ttalking) with an ACC team that's 80 miles up the pike is win-win.

The only thing better than this would be beating them 20 times in a row.

BC gets it both ways. Keep us out of the ACC, but get a home game that they can sell out and have a chance to win, which they desperately need.

Unfortunately, with the conference schedule UConn is going to have, we need home games that can sell out too.

Except that Rutgers, Syracuse, and even UMass didn't fill it.

Also Stony Brook and Buffalo -- our future B1G partners.
