We can't just fold up shop and stop playing while counting on Nichols with 8min to go. That's a bad habit of ours. Need to break it. No matter how good you are defensively and at blocking shots you're gonna have an eventual breakdown in your own end.

I understand the UConn team speed is a couple steps behind other Hockey East teams but you cannot keep going into defensive shells every time you get a lead. Maine's been on a 5 on 5 power play the entire third period.

Naas is ALWAYS pushing the puck up ice and trying to put the puck on net. Its what the rest of the team needs to do more of, especially when leading.

Nichols dropped his GAA from 2.40 to 2.33 He has given up 56 goals in 24 games played

Nice win, never easy to take points at the Alfond. UConn also has a nice track for that first round home ice spot, in 8th place with games in hand on a whole bunch of teams ahead of them in striking distance.
