I know it's just the GHPA, but 32 points and 22 in the second half is impressive, and from the video on the blog, his jumper looks very smooth. Let's hope Calhoun and company found another gem.
Thanks for posting this. Seems like a good kid. I'm excited to see what he can do, though keeping my expectations tempered.
kid looks like he could develop into a nice little player for us.i dont expect the world out of him but i can see him doing some very good things over the next 3 or 4 years.
If he can be Hilton Armstrong -- a reliable backup who can rebound and defend, and maybe blossom late in his career -- that would be an excellent, but realistic outcome. Unfortunately, our recruiting woes make it so we're counting on him to be a lot more than that, especially in his first few seasons.
”..........gotta work hard there's nothing guaranteed....” when asked about the obvious minutes avalable......good stuff
Agreed. Sounds like a good kid who says the right things and seems to have the right attitude. His body does look like a .854 sized version of HA. One thing I did notice on those J's is that he starts his shooting motion real low before getting the ball above his shoulders. He's going to have to improve his shooting motion. To an extent, it's like Drummond where he makes himself smaller by shooting so low.
Seems like yet again Ollie played a huge role in landing this kid. KO can recruit and he has been an asset to the coaching staff. I would have no problem with him being the next head coach because he can get the top recruits.
loved how he answered the questions with a smile on, kid looks hungry and loves being at uconn... ive said since day 1 that ollie is a recruiting machine
