Where are you getting your numbers...? The median income in Hartford is definitely not 68k, it's more like 18k.

I laughed out loud when I read the part about Orlando having 500x the population growth of Hartford. It's so absurd it sounds made up

Hartford is tiny. Metro Hartford, Hartford County, the Hartford DMA, and the State of CT of which Hartford is the capital are not tiny.

Last check, did anyone catch the ICF ratings in Frontierland? Because last I heard, WDW and the like are a major part of the Orlando economy.

Still people outside of the northeast miss the point entirely. Who gives a rats patoot what Hartford's population trend is in the coming years?? The northeast as a whole is tightly packed. There are 11.4M homes within 2 hours of UConn. The only other school that can claim more, in the whole country, is Rutgers. GE left Connecticut for Boston...so what? You can get from Storrs to Boston in much less than 1 hour. But that isn't even the funniest part.

The funniest part of this is the following statement:

"UCF's athletic profile fits well with the Big 12," Hitt wrote.

Let's recap UCF's athletic profile in 2015-16:

Football: 0-12 (might fit in with Kansas?)
Basketball: 12-18 (might fit in with TCU?)
Baseball: 26-33

Eh, by now you get the point. UCF touting its athletics as its "best fit" with the B12 is an insult to anyone forced to read that letter.

You might as well take nyu if you are going solely on what the city can offer. Orlando does not play in sports ucf does and they are downright terrible in most every meaningful sport. Besides the years with bortles football program has done nothing, basketball has not even been nit worthy...but they are a good invite cuz the city they live in has a lot of people who could careless about ucf.
