    excerpt from vto/rivals camp;

    5. Tommy Hopkins, OL, Thornwood (N.Y) Westlake

    http://vmedia. /uploads/880/1240381.jpg Hopkins was one of the best offensive linemen at this camp, showing good footwork, strength and technique. He was beaten to the inside a few times but showed some power, pushing many of the defenders off balance. He needs to work on staying lower and playing with better leverage but he's a D-I lineman for sure based on his size and footwork.

    He is a big boy for sure. I like it. Coach him up, add 20 lbs and were good to go. Always nice adding big bodies up front.

    Catch the article about the kid generating a lot of interest - ND for one. Looks like the interest is legit.

    Great pick up

    Another thing from Rivals:

    Kenny Bigelow against Tommy Hopkins from Thornwood (N.Y.) Westlake taught us one thing - that Hopkins should have BCS offers and not just one from Bucknell. While Bigelow got the best of him for the most part, he still held his own with the nation's No. 6 player overall and that's saying something. Prediction here - Hopkins ends up in a BCS conference by National Signing Day.
