Ticket sales for N.C.State...

Disclosure: My nephew from N.C. just graduated from N.C.State (parents are UConn Alums). Sister & family got tickets through N.C.State & will be tailgating with our crew in Blue Lot. Another Sister just told me that she JUST purchased tix through UConn this morning. She was able to get 5 ducats in section 102 for $ 59.00 per ticket. For some reason, I thought that 102 would have been sold out long ago with season ticket holders.

If we win convincingly (or show signs of a passing attack) vs Umass and NC State beats Tennessee week 1 to potentially crack the top 25 I think we can drum up enough interest for a possible week 2 sellout. It'll be tough but I think a lot of former season ticket holders will be buying single game tickets throughout the season. Hard to blame them when the average ticket price in the parking lot is $15 bucks vs $40+ through ticketmaster.

I bought 7 in 229 last evening, about half way up. You can see what seats are still available in ticketmaster. They don't seem to have the "number of seats remaining" stats in each section like they did previously.

UConn never got the pricing right for games from Day 1.
