Main points:

• 20% national coefficient that is added to club coefficient is no longer so now an Italian club doesn't get a better coefficient without better results just because they're Italian.
• However, there is a second (10-year) coefficient coming into play to determine financial winnings that incorporates previous triumphs in the competition (UCL- that is).
• Champions in qualifying that lose all go into Europa League qualifying (aka every champion, big or small, gets a minimum of 4 games in Europe).
• Two time slots (2 pm and 4pm et) with 2 games on first time slot and other 6 games on later time slot so that you can still watch two complete games but two teams from the same country can't play at the same time in the group stage.
• There will be two preliminary rounds before the four qualifying rounds in both competitions to weed out the minnows.

Format for Champions League:

Qualify for Group Stage automatically (26 clubs)- league rank in paranthesis

• CL title holder
• EL title holder
• Champions (1-10)
• Runners up (1-6)
• 3rd (1-4)
• 4th (1-4)

Qualify for Playoff Round (two separate paths-champions and non-champions)

• Champions (11-12)
• 10 winners from previous round

Qualify for 3rd Qualifying Round (two separate paths-champions and non-champions)

• Champions (13-14)
• 10 winners from previous round
• 3rd (5-6)
• Runners up (7-9)
• 3 winners from previous round

Qualify for 2nd Qualifying Round (two separate paths-champions and non-champions)

• Champions (15-17)
• 17 winners from previous round
• Runners up (10-15)

Qualify for 1st Qualifying Round

• Champions (18-51, excluding Liechtenstein)
• 1 winner from previous round

Qualify for 2nd Preliminary Round

• 2 winners from previous round

Qualify for 1st Preliminary Round

• Champions (52-55)

From the same website and user (Partizan_Belgrade), I have learned the following:
If CL title holder qualifies through league position, the champion from league 11 moves into the group stage.
If EL title holder qualifies through league position, the 3rd team from league 5 moves into the group stage.

So Spain, Germany, England, and Italy put their top 4 straight into group stage? Makes sense. I like the caveat that all champions will worse case end up in Europa League.

Yes, which obviously benefits (probably unfairly) my Serie A (who goes from two spots + a loser in qualifying to 4 auto spots).
