http://espn.go.com/espn/contact?lang=EN&country=united states send em a note. takes 3 minutes. Thanks for putting the game on the crappy internet and not lettin SNY play it on tv.
I agree. Even though I don't have legit cable I am still able to watch a lot of sports programming through my PC because I have Comcast for Internet.
What does the note say? Dear ESPN: we know you paid good money to the MAC so that you would have the right to broadcast their OOC home games on the internet only, but screw you that you want to actually exercise the contract rights you paid for to get the benefit you wanted. No thank you. The world does not revolve around what this board wants.
Espn3 is great if you have it. Sucks if you don't. Don't know why they don't sell direct access on a day or monthly basis.
It would be a lot easier, I think, if every sunday night you could watch football on channel 4, and see what college games will be on channel 4 the next saturday, you know - who, and where, what time, and whether or not the games will be on the same channel 4 you're watching right there, or on one of the other channel 4 stations....you know during commercials during the football game.....I think that kind of model has worked before - in broadcasting a bunch of football games during the day, from east coast to west coast.... I don't know....... just saying.
Wait....I thought we all just told SNY to EFF themselves? How many people do I tell to go EFF themselves this week?
SNY could show the game if they were willing to pay the rights fee that ESPN is asking to show the game. SNY is making a business decision that they cannot make enough (if any) money buying the rights to the game and finding enough advertisers to cover the cost. Why hasn't a local sponsor stepped up to cover the cost of the game?
Have you tried signing up as an ESPN Insider? As an ESPN Insider you can get access to ESPN3. I think it comes free with a subscription to ESPN the Magazine.
I have it, I was just empathizing. I forgot the insider angle. If someone needs a password for Saturday I can lend one.
You are assuming ESPN has interest in selling the game for over the air coverage. ESPN does games every week on ESPN3 that they are not willing to sell the rights to because they are trying to promote ESPN 3.
ESPN3 is great for the exclusive games, but they pulled all the ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU games off there and moved them to the WatchESPN platform which has about 30 million less subscribers than ESPN3. Was not too happy about that...
Eff em all. I just want to watch the damn game and think it should be on TV in CT. if you dont like that, eff you too. ;-)
no, it'll say "i want to watch the damn game on TV. the computer sucks for TV. Get with it and put it on TV." and hey BL, if you dont like it dont do it. Thats pretty simple. "the world doesnt revolve around what this board wants" are you some liberal hippie or something? Kumbaya. Love everybody. It is the way it is. The way I was brought up was if you dont like something then go fix it.
you need to get an HDMI cable. I hook my laptop up to my TV and there's no real difference, except you don't have to sit though the TV time outs. Also, keep in mind if ESPN sticks E3 where the sun don't shine we wouldn't be able to watch the game at all. I can't imagine how some of you would have survived 20 years ago when you were lucky if you had 3 games on the choose from. Or even 10 years ago when UConn was on TV once or twice a season. I still remember being excited beyond belief when i discovered that our game against Kent State would be on MSG back on '03 because it was the first time i ever saw them on TV here in NJ
