Wonder if Coach P has any interest in him. Remember this coming out HS in NJ. A real talent. Can play multiple positions. Spurrier had him at QB.
If you were to bring him in, you have made Whitmer feel like a lame duck QB with a one year term. In a year that has to be targeted for us to perform, doing that for a chance to be better down the road is not a direction I would go in.
The thought process behind a McEvoy would be to move him to another position he might be able to excel at... He was killing it at Bergen Catholic while in HS in NJ... and not at QB... but with his off field issues it's all a moot point... we'd probably pass on him...
