I gotta admit, after reading this I as a UCONN fan am kinda pissed off about some of the stuff HCBD has stated about us before his arrival... It was only 5 years ago that we went to ND and beat their a**es on their turf.. Not 10 years ago, not 20... 5... and we were still competitive with wrong hire Coach P... So, to say that this team had a losing culture, or was fat and outta shape, IMO, is hogwash... bulls**t... Yes, we needed fixing, but were we that bad off guys??? We fought our less talented butts off... outplayed teams that had 'better' players than us... Went to the Fiesta Bowl in 2011...
That Cincy loss(the way we loss, which was embarrassing and pathetic and probably demoralizing to the players) was on the coaches, not the lack of talent...
