He views himself as a jack of all trades, which also is exactly how most scouts and college coaches regard his ultimate contributions.

”I think I do everything well, I don’t do anything particularly great, I just try my best to win games and try to do it all,” Hunter said. “Skill wise, I’m working on my dribbling, working on getting my explosiveness together and getting faster.”

DeAndre Hunter
Statline: 28 PTS, 5 REB

Hunter showed once again why he is one of the premier players on the circuit with a season-high 28 points, coming in a variety of ways. He ran the floor like a guard and his elbow jumper was money all day long. Hunter moves very well for a player his size and he shows great form on his jumper. With an improved handle, Hunter will be a factor at the next level at either forward spot.

Stars? Ranking?

They're listed in the OP. Sounds like he missed his soph year with a broken leg, so the ranking services are probably still catching up.

It wasn't included in the original post, but the way he asked was pretty crappy.

Are we looking at him as a bench player, or do we think he is undervalued? Everything looks solid. Nothing blew me away.

A little redundant with Larrier, no? Also, not much interest from the big boys. Maybe this is just sowing the seeds for a Plan B or C down the line.

Looks like a good shooter, supposed to be good defender, can dribble and is versatile. Good alternative to Bailey (if he does a mission), but would be a good pickup regardless

He has 9 offers including NC State, Temple, St. John, Penn St., Ok. st. . Looks to have a lot of upside.

So exacty how do you use 13 scholarships to build a roster for a game where only 5 play at a time without redundancy in skills? Thank you for enlightening me.

Golden Rule for scholarships and drafting: "take the best player available". If he's it, then get him.

After that, best guy plays.
