How about Felton Blackwell checking in at 6'2 340 as a true freshman! Nazir Williams at 242 was a surprise too.

Noticed Chris Lee and Dallas Parker are both being listed at TE not OT and DE/LB yet. Most likely due to SMs dismissal and our lack of depth there.

Erin Garland???? Must be that phonetic spelling!!
"Erin" is the Irish way to spell it and can be both male and female. "Aaron" is Old Testament and is exclusively men.

Bryan Cespedes comes in at 6'7 and 287 pounds. per his rivals website (high school) he came in at 6'7 260 pounds. Looks like he's growing into his OL body. nice work

Things I find interesting:

Blackwell 340 lbs at DE

Ryslik at DL not OL

McLean at 6'5"

Hashemi back to OL (good)

If the heights and weights are even close to legit, then our average freshman is 9 feet tall and 650 lbs. They are enormous !!!

I don't think the position labels mean much for the freshman in regards to where they will play in 1-2 years.
This is an enormous class. I also noticed many of the freshman gained 15-35 lbs from their listed recruiting weight. Clearly these kids are very self motivated because most of that had to have been gained before getting to campus.

one thing is for sure...it's easy to separate the OLB's from the ILB's...all the OLB's seem to be 6-3 to 6-4.

Looks like they corrected Campbell and Tabur... both players' positions show up as TE and DL respectively...

Okounan 288
Nazir Williams 242
Zolman 250, thought he was at 225
Andeyami 268 to 291
L. Carezolla 242 to 255
Hicks close to 250

Diaco said when he got here that he couldn't tell the difference between a senior and a freshman, PP/GD,
Hathaway and Hogan.

I notice these kids all are wearing the exact same shirt tie and jacket... This kinda probably seals the deal that we won't be seeing names on the back of jerseys... I'd be shocked if we did. Probably a good idea though... No one person being bigger than the team... I nice "glass half full move" IMO....

Rysilk played DT in high school and has said that UConn recruited him as a DE. You look at a photo of this kid and he's thin for his frame. He could go to 320, 330 pretty easily.

The don't list line positions, no DT, DE, OT, etc, everyone is Offensive Line or Defensive Line. I count 19 Linebackers and 8 Tight Ends. The position movement is likely to continue.

I wish they had names on the jerseys. I know the kids like it. Besides, they all have different numbers (with a few exceptions).

some notable improvements:

James Atkins: 257 to 267
Tyler Davis: 215 to 225
Vontae Diggs: 215 to 225
Steve Hashemi: 271 to 286
Sheriden Lawley: 263 to 275 (insane total gains in the last year)
Brian Lemelle: 163 to 172 (MUCH needed)
Thomas Lucas: 203 to 213
Sean Marinan: 286 to 296
Daniel Oak: 278 to 292
Tyler Samra: 290 to 301
Kyle Schafenacker: 280 to 290
Jalen Stevens: 225 to 240
Graham Stewart: 228 to 237

Lots of others gained 3-8 lbs. A few big boys lost a little weight, but I'm guessing that was a planned loss leading into the season to maximize mobility and endrance

Got to love the strides most of the team has made in the weight room. Anyone still worried about the incoming freshmen OL not weighing enough?

I'm going all in that Marinan gets a scholarship like Claflin did for his Sr year.

Not sure I draw that correlation yet - they are still college kids. It's was probably show up in a clean white dress shirt. We will give you the open backed jacket and clip on tie.:p

Newsome up to 182. Could be the difference between going down on first contact and staying upright.
