Stewie certainly had one heck of a summer. I expected the others to have impressive rookie years in the W, because they were very good players in college. I'm pleasantly surprised and pleased to see that Imani Boyette had one too. Good for her. I must admit, I didn't see her making that transition as quickly as she did.

She'll only get better as she matures, and gets additional experience playing over seas. I saw her mom (Pam McGee/USC) play in person many times (home games) during her time at Troy.
Congratulations to all of these young ladies. The world is your oyster. :)

I can't argue with the ROM voting................But September ROM could have easily been that little Rookie point guard down in San Antonio. I don't think anyone could have argued that either.

Just saying.

Funny how that same argument could have been made for 2015's final four MOP.

No one acknowledged the fact that Stewie was also named to the all WNBA first team. I was more impressed with that than the ROY award.

Yes, exactly. The ROY was a long-foregone conclusion. Not so the first-team designation. I'm glad to see that Voepel's early "picks" didn't influence her colleagues. They were smart enough to put Stewie on first team and Taurasi (whom Voepel had excluded) on second team.
