Rich: Stewart set to face Baylor once again

“Well, I think Stewie helped Baylor a lot last year, so I don’t think it was all bad,’’ UConn coach Geno Auriemma said. “I think (Coach) Kim (Mulkey) and Brooklyn Pope, I think those two guys appreciated Stewie’s efforts in the Baylor game last year. Us not so much, but it wasn’t a total wash."

Geno also said that Baylor scored 50 points in the second half, and Stewie was responsible for 35 of them.

breanna has a lot more help this year than was around last year. jefferson's better, dolson's better, kaleena is kaleena, and hartley is big gamer. stokes, banks, chong off the bench all can play. so hopefully breanna will not press, which can happen if she's trying to make up for last year. but she is special, so we may see a special game from her.
