We saw him last month, but it's not clear if we've offered:

He's a 6-foot-7, 230 lb PF who would come in with 2 years of eligibility. He's averaging 11p/12r/5.5apg on 49/25/64 shooting splits, and is third in the country in defensive rebounding/fourth in total rebounding. He's also 37th in assists and 88th in blocks.

I'm of the opinion that we need another big man on next year's roster -- specifically one that will rebound the hell out of the basketball. IDK if we want to go the JuCo route or wait for a postgrad, but I'm glad the staff is looking. The fact that this kid appears to be a very good passer of the ball as well is a nice bonus:

Pitt, Georgia and a few others are on him pretty hard at this point.

EDIT: One more for fun:

Memphis is going straight JUCO right now - they've got three pretty good junior college players in the past week and I think they're likely getting a fourth.

If it helps Memphis become a Top 20 program, I'm all for their JUCO plan.

I'm not convinced the bottom of the league will ever be anything more than an RPI abyss.

Top of the league has to become elite with 4-5 top 20 programs.
