LB's look a little light. Hope they can bring the thunder. Interesting that Lemelle didn't make the WR chart.

John Green is the backup CB. I saw he was moved there, but wasn't that this week? There's no one else? I thought Hadley would be there? Interesting.

Green to CB is interesting. A little more weight than Hadley. Also, I don't see David Stevenson on the roster any longer.

Good to see Lemelle as backup punt returner. Have to think he learned a few things after being thrown into the fire pan last year.

Is this the first we have seen Wilbert Lee referred to as Junior Lee?

Previously reported he has left the team.

Lemelle thing seems weird. Not making it on the WR depth chart.

8 seniors on the two deep, plus a LS. Very young. This is exactly what we need for year one of the Diaco regime. Part two of that is for the young pups to step up. If Diaco can put a 6-6 or better season together, we will have some great momentum moving forward.

...LeMelle is still there. It's just a really good WR group. He's close to the other players. The others are just ahead right now.

Looking at the depth chart, it's pretty clear that we've got an X receiver group that is going to have certain characteristics and a Z group that will have certain characteristics and the Y, my guess is that we've got too many players that are good, to keep a Y receiver out of the mix in the offensive playbook, regardless of what they've been talking about the TE's.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this UCONN offense play.

Linebacker position is most worrisome, followed by OL. As much as we all want to do the "in Bob we trust" thing, I think the attrition is going to hurt this team. 7-5 is my call. Hope I'm wrong but that's all I see with this depth

Four of our five toughest games are at home. I think that's going to be tough to overcome for a young team and a new coaching staff. I'd be very happy with 7-5.

The photos of the players are inspiring. I think they are underpromising and will over deliver.

Did you (and others) not see Ashiru and Vann on the field last season? I think we're fine at LB. I'm more concerned about who is going to get pressure on the QB and Adams and Obi Kenobi mastering the new scheme than the LB's.

.I'm legit excited to see #34 lined up in a 2 back set. Been a long time since that staple of offense been a threat.

they messed up a bunch of the classes that these guys are in. Davis is a senior, etc.

Am I the only one who is curious that both #2 guards are true freshman?

I'm wondering if messages are being sent to a couple of guys (I'll leave it at that).

I get we haven't seen true freshmen on the two deep very often here at Uconn. But it is that hard to believe that maybe they are ready and/or the best fit right now? After all they are Diaco's guys.

I personally don't see that as a good sign. I wonder about guys like Rugg and Schafenacker.

I believe Rutherford committed to the previous regime. But I could wrong.

The only true frosh (during the years we were able to field quality offensive lines) who did not start school older than your typical freshman that made a two deep was Joe Akers (before his career was cut short).

I did not want to knock any of the kids on the team and I did not want anyone inferring that I believe the current staff has any agenda (which knowing the boneyard would be the standard response). That is why I did not elaborate.

Jimmy S, that is exactly what had me curious. Hopefully whatever happened to date (with many coaches) causing them to fall behind will be overcome shortly. Each has sufficient talent to be a contributor here.
