Police at UConn said they have completed their investigation into an incident that prompted a "shelter in place" order at Oak Hall.
The "all clear" was given at about 5:30 p.m., about 75 minutes after a person called UConn police with concern about a conversation he overheard. Police went to the building and found no trouble, but as a precaution searched each floor. While they did that they asked people in the building to stay where they were.
"Police and emergency crews conducted a thorough search of Oak Hall and found nothing to indicate any danger to students, employees or the campus community as a whole," UConn spokeswoman Stephanie Reitz said.
