If I could pick a player to give one of our unused schollies to, a 6'4 grad transfer who could shoot, rebound, and goes by "Pancake" is pretty much the mold.

The hair is pretty on point too, and he vaguely resembles Omar.

I wonder if there are any rumblings of mutual interest between the flapjack and KO. Can never hurt to have an additional ball handler, esp one who is 6'4.

Honestly, would love to see him down in New Britain, lighting it up for Coach D. Marshall.. but he probably wants to win now, so not a good fit for him there... maybe Fairfield or Sacred Heart..

One of my former players ended up @ Sacred Heart a few years back, what a terrible program.. Bike set them back so far and his replacement can't keep kids there, culture of losing.

This late in the game the team chemistry issue usually takes front stage as it relates to adding a guy like Pancake.

If he chooses Boise he may play more but the coaching is horrible with Leon Rice. Musselman at Nevada is the best coach out of any of these teams. Cam Oliver could go 1st round next year. Nevada has a very good back court already as it stands. I think they surprise and win the MW. Pancake should go to Nevada and try and earn 6th man of the year in the MW.

Temple would be my 2nd choice and he could end up there. As a specialist he could have helped us. I think Ollie made the right choice to play his young guys like CV/AG.

He obviously played very well for Hartford last year, but you have to wonder if a kid who spent two years struggling at New Mexico is really going to be an impact player at this level.

And Hartford's schedule was terrible, so you can't even get much by pulling out their good games. FWIW (not much), he played 6 games against KP top-100 teams, (Louisville, Providence, Yale, Stony Brook x3), and averaged 16.5 points on .407 shooting, .324 from three. So decent volume scorer, but not going to carry a team outside of the AEC. I still think he could be an impact guy for a school like Temple, though.
