I was going to post something similar earlier today. What an opportunity to see the world! Taking a year off to see the world is something you cannot turn down. Obviously, he's not going to be an NBA player, but he has a Yale degree waiting for him after he returns, another year of eligibility & has his sights on becoming the mayor of Bridgeport someday. Sounds like he's got an agenda to do big things in life. He will have a lifetime of stories to tell. I certainly wouldn't turn it down, unfortunately, I couldn't carry a tune in a suitcase!
I've seen The Whiffenpoofs at Mory's a couple of times, they are very excellent.
