16. Has to be Newport, when they plugged in.
19. First female coach in the NFL
23. Gun shot; no one is sure if it was suicide. Unless you mean Don McLean, who is still alive I believe.

I would hope I'm enough in command of my faculties to NOT mean Don M, but I've made goofs before.

14. The Stockholm
18. The Department of War
20. I believe they were World War I veterans who marched on Washington, DC, demanding a bonus for their war service. Many of them were out of work due to the onset of the Great Depression.

24. The guy standing in the "Early Morning Rain" - written, I think, by Gordon Lightfoot, made popular by Peter, Paul, and Mary.

18. the War Department
20. If the Bonus Army was 1932, then my answer to the VA question is three presidents to earlybut the Bonus Army was a group of protesting World War I vets who descended upon Washington demanding care/respect/benefits for having served their country. McArthur was tasked with quelling the "disturbance" and ran roughshod over them.

14..Rbny, geordi & Ine all made it to the life rafts, after kicking aside the women and children.

15..JC & VAUC, though with 2 left feet themselves, recognize Fred.

16..Yeah, lots of fans did not appreciate electric guitars at the folk festival. Thanks to Dish here.

17..Parsifal works, so JC, Ine & geordi do too.

18..No, not the War Dept, but the National Military Establishment, however briefly, under Truman.

19..See Dish, who finally becomes a fan of the NFL, now that he has someone at which to longingly gaze.

20..Technically, these veterans were not to be paid until way off in 1945.

21..Three of you meet the criteria not missing 1875 by much.

22..The Cape Cod Canal.

23..Dish provides "gunshot'. See, even back then, we needed gun control legislation.

24..I don't know why Pinot does not think Gordon gained popularity for his own song, unless, of course, PPM give him kickbacks.

25..Geordi comes up with an obscurity (when will this guy ever have USEFUL knowledge. What? I should talk, you say?).

Just 3 went astray, good for a B+.
