One of my grand-daughters will graduate from UMass tomorrow, summa cum laude. Of more significance, she will be inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Apparently they took note of her 3.93 GPA, plus her extensive volunteer work at the VA hospital and State Prison. Her extraordinary achievements (and those of her cousins, including one completing his Fulbright Scholarship en route to med school)), cause me to say (with a wink;) and a smile:)):

"Had I known how much fun the grandchildren would be, I would have had them first."

(A sentiment shared by many - lovingly.):);)

Congratulations to your grand-daughter and her cousins. Hope you get to Amherst for this memorable occasion. And thanks for sharing your great joy. Apples really don't fall far from the trees !

If you go, will you wear some Husky swag ?

That is phenomenal news.
Great for your kids' kids.
I love hearing upbeat news like this from proud grandparents.
See what paying attention to grammar can do for you.
You know, it's all in the DNA.

Good for you!!

Never had kids, (or siblings) but have always taken great pride in my wife's nieces, nephews and now the next generation as they progress. Families can be neat.

...and I (also childless...) brag about my nieces, nephews, godchildren, and even my cousins kids...sometimes even my buddies kids. The older you get, it's nice to see good kids that you know work hard and achieve "success" in sports, careers, life.
