That video is eye opening to say the least. Talk about disrespecting the athletes. The so called main stream news media is fully behind putting lip stick on a big pig and would have you believe the Australian experience was an aberration which was quickly corrected. WRONG.

A fellow poster on the hockey board I frequent is also a camera operator for NBC. He has been regaling us with stories about what a nightmare Brazil is courtesy of NBC's security briefing for its personnel. He came very close to turning down the assignment (apparently he's got enough seniority that he can do that) but in the end the $ was just too good to pass up.

He landed in Rio a few hours ago- he says there are Brazilian Army troops everywhere and they are heavily armed.
