There will be "hundreds of ESPN3 exclusive live college sports events" available on TV starting September 5.

I know with DirecTV it comes included with the Sports Pack. So it's "free" if you already subscribe to that.

I heard the PAC-12 Network was in the testing phase for DTV but it suddenly disappeared (the name of the test channel on 612 was altered). Everyone is speculating on the meaning of that but no one really knows.

It's replacing GamePlan. If you have whatever sports tier any of those providers offers, you should get those free of charge.
