Nneka Enemkpali Texas out for Year with ACL Injury

Tore her ACL in last nights game against Baylor. Huge Loss for Texas.

At the beginning of the season, they were a F4 contender, now with their injuries may only make it to the second round of the tournament.

Anyone who saw the game last night is not surprised. I had to switch it off after seeing this. Just awful.

TX has gotten Atkins and Stafford-McGee back, so maybe with some time they can start to gel again.

Just so heartbreaking for the kid. ACL is such an awful injury that hits way more kids than it should. Hope she has a full recovery and is back to doing what she loves as soon as possible...

What a shame. It's too late in the year for her to redshirt, so it's an end not just to her season but to her college career. I hope this doesn't hurt her for the WNBA draft. Probably some team will be willing to take a chance on her.
