The Cardinals lead 20-15 in the first.

Ogunbowale is going to be a special player for ND. She is instant offense.

probably, yea.

I just don't like the patent ND move of driving in the lane with your head down plowing through players and tossing the ball at the backboard hoping for a foul. Reminds me of the old ND teams of Natalie Novosel.

Louisville up 24-19 at the quarter. Louisville leading on rebounds & assists, even on blocks & steals, winning on turnovers (1, vs 3 for ND)

First of three huge games in a 32 hour window. Louisville looked good in the 1st quarter.

ND doesn't not look well prepared for this game. Unusual for them.

I saw Louisville play in the Florida Gulf Coast Showcase and I stated then that the Cardinals were young and when they put it all together watch out.

As much as I despise the Cardinals and their boxing instructor, I would like to see them pull off the win today and move Baylor up to a #3 ranking. Then after UCONN beats SC by 20+ Baylor can move into the #2 spot, which is where I think they belong at this point in the season.

The Baylor freshmen posts are really starting to gel. Brown and Mompremier combined for 32 points and 19 rebounds against KU. Cave and Higgins, the upper class centers, combined for 8 points and 8 rebounds. What a major difference from Baylor's post presence a year ago.

Alexis Prince played her best game since missing 14 games due to knee surgery. Baylor really needed her length on defense and her ability to score from anywhere on the floor. She and the improvement of the post players have made Baylor a much better team than they were a few weeks ago.

And now that Durr is healthy they are a dangerous team.

Wow, Ogunbowale pushed the Card defender and the Crd got called for a block. What about the rule against displacing the defender?

Holy crap. I'm not sure I have ever seen a player shoot the ball over the backboard from 5 feet away. That goes down as the worst shot of the year.

Yep...that's what im saying. Every time I see Ogunbowale play that's what she does. We will see her do it again, I am sure.

Mariya Moore got pushed out of bounds and it was a Louisville turnover. Hmmm...

I've seen Sessions do that a lot as well, only she doesn't look for her shot as much.

Ogunbowale is not the pass first type of player. Maybe Muffett thought she could turn into a pass first player. Not going to happen. Sure, she may score a lot of points, but it's sacrificing their team concept, which is why the ND offense is always highly ranked. ND looks flat.

For a low scoring game, there hasn't been much defense.

Louisville would be up double digits if it could make its layups. Score is 57-55 Louisville.
