According to the Jersey Guy (Blaudschun), there's your new Big East commish.
Big East set to hire CBS VP Mike Aresco as its new commissioner http://ajerseyguy.com
He isn't from Providence and works in TV. Fine with me.
Also went to UConn Law school.
read his bio on CBS Sports - Thread rolling on Football Ball.
Born in Middletown, lives in Greenwich? Cool - local guy makes good...
Great, the NBE will be all set to file more lawsuits.
This is exactly the type of thoughtful commentary that we were hoping for when we allowed you to join this place.
You're kidding right?
Go back and look at my posts. Even those that do nothing more than post a link to an article or make a polite argument are responded to by villification and insults.
You want to preach there are many others more in need of your message.
Guy has an incredible reputation in TV and has negotiated TV deals for numerous leagues in bball and football. If we are staying in the Big East long term, this is the type of guy UConn wants.
Is that you Chesco?
Ah the troll lifecycle nears the end. After flaming repeatedly, they whine about how they are abused. We're getting close to the end boys.
He should just be glad. It's by our good graces that we let him come over and get his little self esteem boost every day.
Plus, the summer is almost over and it is almost time for him to give 7th Grade a fourth try. So his free computer time will be much more scarce in a few weeks!
Resume looks great. On paper an outstanding hire.
excellent hire, IMO.
He is an UCONN alum too. Great first interview on CFL: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:8269182
When that schmuck Joe mentioned Big 5, Mike said Big 6 LOL.
Never mind that Blumenthal went to Harvard and Yale, you blowhard.
Give Blumenthal a gold star for his academic record but a zero for his real world smarts. UConn would likely be in the ACC now if they had not sued everybody in sight.
Blumenthal made a big show for himself with the lawsuit because he wanted more visibility for his next campaign. He got it and UConn got left out like the little kid at the playground who never gets picked to play.
I was thinking the same thing. Chesco was ten of the dumbest people on the internet.
Separate names with a comma.
