In the past, the talk of a 12/20 BE started, I thought that a 12/16 model with those four school was a better option. You would have had to guarantee the four a much larger % of revenue to offset what would become their complete irrelevance in league matters, but it might have been worth exploring. I think the only model that has proven successful is the all sports conference that has equal revenue sharing and has some definable geographic footprint.
