Forget about the new rules which might as well be called the Louisville Rule, Pitino really has a bit of an issue at point guard - he doesn't seem to have one.

Russ Smith and Chris Jones have 36 shot attempts and two assists.

Yup, all the media wanted to talk about in the offseason/preseason was that Chris Jones was better than Siva, he can score but I didn't see him setting anybody up or initiating the offense. Rozier also got alot of hype as well and he didn't show anything in his limited minutes.

Well, they scored 54 points between the 2 of them. What they really didn't have was a defense.

Your point remains - times like this you sure miss Siva.

Chris Jones is Ryan Boatright guys and gals.....almost exact! And LVille was what UConn has been for 2 games with the guards being basically 'IT" for offense..........

Both teams need to change it up quickly.......

One thing that stands out to me in that game is they aren't the same scary defensive team as of late. UNC doesn't handle pressure well at all and the fact they scored like they did tells you all you need to know.......

Lets not overreact. UConn had less assists against IU than UL had against UNC. UL also averages more assists per game than does UConn with both teams averaging about an assist every 5 points.
