Louisville was the #1 overall seed that year and UConn went down and dominated them on their home floor sometime in February without making a single three. Crazy how much the game has changed in 10 years.

What I remember most about that game was that Samardo Samuels got his first shot blocked by Thabeet, and then decided he had no interest in looking at the basket the rest of the game.

Just checked the box score, and Samuels scored 0 points on 2 shots, while Thabeet had 14 and 11 with 4 blocks.

He stinks though.

n college. I’d put his final year numbers up against any number one pick over the last 15 years. He just didn’t translate to the league and Blair was the only one to give him a headache.

“Winshares” is a metric for determining greatness?!?! I think not. The eye test is the most important metric. Don’t be bringing “winshares” up in here - WTF is that?
