Morgan eye adds 2 to her total in 11 tries against Vanderbilt today.
Morgan may be pressing; she usually shoots a lot better than that. Missouri is 15-12; can that get them a WNIT bid? Frankly, I don't think that Morgan can get to 392. I think she needs 39 threes in what could be as few as 3-4 games. Even if Missouri can miraculously get 8 more games, she's need to average 5 per game. Even if she doesn't make it to 392, Morgan should be in the top 10, which is a very nice accomplishment.

I think Kaleena is going to be very close. A couple of big games would really help. On the other hand, an 0-fer will really hurt her chances.

I'm totally confident KML will break the record. She has kept up her 3/game required average. Just keep doing what she's already doing. And we have a couple big games left in the tourney - she will step up when it counts and blow it away. I also think she is totally aware of the record and where she stands, and driven to break it.

I watched part of the game. Some shots were made too quickly and others from far away. Hence I was not surprised by the low shooting percentage.

Five more for KML tonight. She's now at 362, exactly 30 shy of the record. Thankfully, she more than made up for her zero treys two games ago and brought her three-game average just past where it needs to be.

Senior Night is coming up. Let's hope for something special for Kaleena on Saturday.

K was 5-8 tonight and has 362. She needs 30 in 11 possible games. She's still shooting over 50% from distance on the season.

After banking a couple extras in each of her last two games, K just needs to average 2.73 threes per game from here on out to tie the record, assuming they win the AAC and play in the NC game.

Go KML. She deserves it. If not for the injury and the illness, she'd have already passed it.
I believe she missed 13 games over the past 2 seasons (12 and 1). Given her career average, she'd have about 395 now and be heading to 425.

Nice list! Thanks!

There are 7 players within 5 three-pointers of one another at the top. Wow!

I'd love to see K get to 400!

Wonder if KML/EYE should be listed as 2012-15 instead of 2011-15, I noticed how all the other players are listed in terms of time played.

Missouri upsets the Aggies, but Morgan Eye has 0 threes and 0 points today. So I guess she stays at 353.

Morgan Eye almost certainly will finish behind Kaleena. She trails by 9 and may have only 2 games left. Kaleena may have 11 games left.

5 more today puts her 367 and passing Maggie Lucas for 11th!
I'd really like her to wrap this thing up before leaving Gampel (end of 2nd NCAA tourney game). The fans deserve to see it.

So Kaleena has 367, only 25 short of the record.

Her games (hopefully):

1. Regular season at USF
2. AAC quarterfinals at Mohegan
3. AAC semifinals at Mohegan
4. AAC finals at Mohegan
5. NCAA round 1 at Storrs
6. NCAA round 2 at Storrs
7. NCAA regionals at Albany
8. NCAA regional finals at Albany
9. NCAA semifinals at Tampa
10. NCAA finals at Tampa

She would need to average 6.25 to tie the record by the end of the AAC tourney. I think that's too optimistic.

She would need to average 4.17 to tie the record by the second NCAA tourney game on campus. Very doable.

She would need to average 3.13 to tie the record in Albany and 2.50 to tie it in Tampa.

I believe that her career average is a little under 3, but she's on a hot streak lately. I think she gets it in Albany. I hope she gets it at Mohegan. :)

Kaleena's caeer average is 2.78 treys a game. This season, she's averaging a little better than three a game. Bottom line, she needs to average 2.6 a game if UConn gets to the NC round. If she can stay on this tear where five a game is common, she'd break the record before leaving Storrs. I'd love for her to set the record in Albany, but I'd settle for Tampa...

She's already got three of the top six seasons of treys made in UConn history. In a few games, it'll be three of the top five and almost certainly the top two.

KML will be going out in style.

OK, KML is up to 371 three-pointers after hitting four tonight against USF. I wouldn't have ever forgotten her missing the wide-open treys in the second half had she not gotten the extremely fortunate shooter's roll towards the end of the game. So now she's 21 shy of the record with (we hope) nine games left. Not to be a broken record, but if she can get her three (or better) a game, the record will belong to Kaleena. She's played 29 of 30 games and has 94 treys, so it seems likely she'll do it. Fingers crossed...

I think her season record is 118 threes, from 2 years ago. If she gets 24 more, that puts her at 118 again and 395 for her career. Go Kaleena!

19 3's in the past 4 games.... I hope the next game she can hit 5 or more. Also the first two rounds of the NCAA at Storrs would be awesome.

Morgan Eye had a game against Arkansas on Sunday. She went 0/2 on 3s and scored a total of 6 points. KML probably has an insurmountable lead in the 3 point race even if Missouri makes it to the NIT.

Another record KML could come awfully close to: Most 3 point FG in a Season.

Lisa McMullen, Alabama St. (1991), and Sade Logan, Robert Morris (2008) hold the current record at 126.

Currently, KML stands at 94 for the season. She would need 33 to break the record.

That would require KML to make 3.67/game. IMPROBABLE, but possible.

Melissa Dixion of Iowa 109 and Kelsey Mitchell of Ohio St. 110 are both closing in on the record. But with UCONN’s history, KML will most likely go further in the tournament.

It’s a bittersweet time of year. We are so excited to see what these women have worked hard for all year to do, but saddening that we must say thank you and farewell to our departing seniors. KML and Kiah have had wonderful seasons and I think the regular season was just a warm up for what they will do for the next 9 games towards the 10th championship!

(DISCLAIMER: Staying healthy, teamwork, and winning overall are more important than the personal accolades or records, BUT how often do one of our Huskies to have a NCAA individual record?)
