Methinks the conspiracy theorists at UT are warming up their on line printers!

HAHA. Funny, Rocky, how beautifully that "conspiracy" worked out for us. And how terribly it turned out for UNC and their super duper "Gang of Four Freshmen" (Deshields, Gray, Mavunga and Washington). While two have departed UNC, DeShields' comments to Mechelle Voepel illustrate exactly why UNC continues to fail, and why I think with such an attitude Deshields will fare no better at Tennessee.

"UNC is a place where they're not going to try to restrict you," DeShields said. "Coach Hatchell [told] us that we were going to go fast, and she was going to let us play basketball."

"And Coach Hatchell's going to allow us to do those things without trying to change us or make us into a different type of player. So it was just perfect for us all."

- Either Hatchell will say anything to grab a recruit, or (and) as seems to be the case, she does let her team play undisciplined, playground ball.
- Could you imagine if Geno had been successful in recruiting Deshields? Oh Man, one of them would have been in desperate need of a shrink.

The script for Ms Cox has been drafted by Kaleena. Access the linked article, then replace KML with Cox, Tuck with Collier, and Stewie with Samuelson -- or some similar combination and you will have given new inspiration to Boneyarders who find the urge to participate in threads entitled "Who will start?" or "How many minutes will freshmen _____ and ______ play?" to be irresistible.

OTOH, it may silence critics of Geno's recruiting practices. (Well, we can hope.)

Mr. Kibitzer - agree wholeheartedly. Sounds like a good looking Octogenarian with an eye for quality/excellence. I am working on creating mature replies to these great posts. Samuelson & Collier could be the answer to Cox coming to UConn.
