Just watched the Suns game - I can see why Kara was disappointed not to make the team. She is playing really really well this year. I do not disagree with any of the guards selected ahead of her, just that she is still a very good player and would have fit on the team. Tough to be so good and just miss out. I can really understand why a player like Hammond would play for another country given the opportunity and the frustration of not being selected to the USA team. (Again, not disagreeing re selection process, just seeing the human side for these players.)
