Kansas St gets two 2015s

Remember all that talk about how K St would do poorly in recruiting b/c of the Leticia Romero case? I was skeptical that would be the case, and now we've got proof:
K St just landed #92 Anna Hammaker (G) and #110 Cheyenne Hooper (P). [Hooper had originally pledged to do volleyball at UCF.]

Former TCU coach Jeff Mittie off to a good start as the Wildcats now have a top 30 class.

Don't consider getting the 92nd and 110th ranked players anything significant. Lets see if they're able to get any of the Top 50 players.

That is absolutely significant. Those are highly ranked players to 98% of WCBB and Mittie has done well with players not even mentioned in rankings in years past so I see it as a good sign that a good coach like Jeff will not be set up for failure by a University that supposedly killed its athlete friendly image with how they handled Romero.

Getting Mittie was a big plus for KSU. He is well respected and will do well. These players, while not Samuelson types, are still good gets for a program that just had such a horrible situation that could have scared off any players.

Kansas St had 0 top 150 recruits in 2013 and 2014. (I don't have records before that.)
