I started writing the thread title as, 'it's time to be sensible', but the more i thought about it the more i realised that if you'd been waiting on the sidelines or took everything in stride as i had so far it's about time to panic.
The new big east is going to suck, but some incarnation of it is going to stay together because it's going to make a nickel more than CUSA. At this point I just want to be in a place of stability; but that isn't going to happen. In fact the most likely thing to happen is that the we ride on the not quite a big boy conference boat for the next quarter century, all the while watching exciting on court games vs smu and tulane. That's just depressing, definitely time to panic.
