Embarrassed?!?!? Who would be embarrassed to retrieve a bottle of Jim Beam from the loving plastic embrace of a s e x doll's crotch?

This thread is going down hill fast and I completely blame myself. I'm going to punch myself in the throat.
You should punch yourself in the Senhor

I've taken care of Butch's parking.

Who's going to buy him and his girlfriend a beer?

Blue Lot? If so, they are welcome to visit our tailgate for a pastrami burger. And I'd be happy to buy a brew inside.

No, but he will probably park near there. You could PM him if you want to give him details on how to find you without sharing it publicly.

I don't drink anymore, nor does my girl. But we'll take up the offer for pastrami burgers! :D

You guys are giving my girl exactly what she needs, a warm welcome to Connecticut! She's from a Massachusetts family and hates Massachusetts! One of her family's members goes to BC High!

Actually anyone is welcome to stop by for a pastrami burger or funeral potatos. Just send me a PM. Here's your chance to meet Butch!

Speaking of tailgating, I am looking for one to join this week. Looks like my "group" is not ready for prime time yet and it could be just 2 or solo. I come prepared so if you wouldn't mind, PM me and we can try to sync up location wise and anything else you might need.

It's true. It's what he wrote just a little while ago (last line of the article in the link provided)..

Between 30,000-31,000 tickets been sold as of noon Wednesday. Rentschler holds about 40,000.

To say that I'm incredibly bummed is a HUGE understatement. Looks like the upper deck will be mostly empty for a national TV P5 audition.

What gives with all the ticket counting showing 1000 or so left?

Don't know. My guess is BYU returned a TON of tickets and the counting dot theory is an exercise in futility (sorry lil' Fishy and Husky25!).

I still think that is a typo...are they ignoring students or something? It was a throw away line, so I will be very upset if that is remotely accurate.

My guess is that there a lot of seats still available that require a seat donation that aren't being sold as individual game tickets only season tickets.

I just tweeted Dez to see if his 30-31K excludes student tickets. If so, then I will feel MUCH better.

Well if they only "sold" 31,000 tickets then they gave away 8,000. Seems counter intuitive to insinuated 75% capacity but not put the remaining up for sale. But what do I know. I only graduated with a B.S. from the School of Business Administration...On the other hand it was the old one. I was only required to buy a TI-82 graphing calculator for MATH 105 and 106, so my methods may be outdated.

That isn't it. They were selling chairbacks and lower level seats. No idea.

Even if it excludes student seats, that only puts attendance in the 36K range. Still low in my opinion but not as embarrassingly low as 31K.

The seats I bought for Butch were best available. And were in 204. That doesn't add up to 9k unsold seats.

I thought that maybe UConn was holding some back on the website, but if you go look at Stony Brook you will see a lot of tickets available. And it looks like the visitor section tix are pretty much gone now (which is usually a litmus test after a school returns them) so I think there will be a good crowd. Also - Des is wrong a lot, so there is that.

UConn selectively releases tickets for purchase. There are various promotions where UConn saved blocks of tickets for a chamber of commerce, etc. They slowly release those back into the ticket poo as welll. It sucks but I don't doubt the report. Threw up in mouth.
