I just watched the game. Based on that one sampling, Iowa State is not very impressive. As a team, they are not very tall, and rather slow footed. Their defense against Texas was uncommitted and sloppy, and they seemed to lack spirit/hustle on the court.

I can see AO having a huge game, with Drummond, and I can see IS getting in quick foul trouble.

IS guards, in particular, seem rather slow. Bazz and Boat should go off.

This is a game tailor built for Roscoe - he'll do well against IS's slower, shorter players.

Throw in their coach is 19 years old and in his 2nd season, and this should be a 10 point win.

The question then is are we willing to run? For reasons beyond anything I can think of this team doesn't care to play a transition offense which costs us plenty of points.

Yes, but are you going to watch their games against Kansas or Missouri?
Agreed. One game is not a large enough sample size to assess a team. The OP noted this as well. I think the assessment that they shoot the three well is about the fairest assessment for their team. Our guys need to be prepared for this.
