In this thread, we keep track of who is still alive for a CFP spot.
Criteria: if P5 or ND you can afford one loss, if G5 or other indy you have to be undefeated.
Hawaii was the first team eliminated with a 51-31 loss to Cal.
127 schools remain.

P5 so yes. Mathematically yes, but realistically no. Their second loss officially would eliminate them.

I thought about not starting it until week 5 or so but I said what the heck. Northern Illinois lost. 108 schools remain.

Notre Dame lost, so now they can only lose two more. Special rules for them always.

UCF, UConn, Tulsa, SMU, W Kentucky, FAU, MTSU, ODU, UTSA, UTEP, BYU, Akron, Ball St., EMU, New Mexico, Utah St., Wyoming, Nevada, UNLV, Louisiana Monroe, Troy,

They only have one loss though and are P5. For our purposes, they are still in, but in BIG trouble.

I think they have five ranked opponents left on their schedule. They're probably out, but they still have a 1% chance.
