When Lord Wyman Manderly declared Jon Snow the King in the North, he referred to Jon as the "White Wolf." This nickname is more than just an allusion to Jon's albino direwolf, Ghost. It has ties to his bastard status. In Westeros, Bastards do not have the right to use the arms of the highborn families from which they descend. They must reverse the colors of the sigil. This custom is meant to signal the man's bastard status. House Stark's sigil is a gray direwolf on a white background, which means Jon Snow's banners will show a white wolf on a gray background. Jon Snow, the King in the North, will be known as the White Wolf. The fact that he owns a snowy direwolf is really just a foreshadowed cherry on top.

See the end with free kingdoms in North, Dorne, Pyke. Dany owning the rest. Wall collapses and the free folk return to their homes.

That scene was very confusing for me. From my previous fantasy consuming experiences, I understand implicitly that an undead-zombie being simply doesn't have a functioning member--the desire isn't even there. It's just not part of the deal. What the hell is the Mountain then? Did Qyburn stuff him full of viagra goat weed or something? Sew on a golden phallice?

You and everyone here was a dumb 12 year old kid once. She's grown up but you still look at her like a dumb 12 year old. Why? I'm not even disagreeing that she's done dumb things but we all get older and more mature and hopefully smarter. She'll still make mistakes but she's also grown a ton.

I do reading and there's a natural arc to all stories that makes Sansa's rise and Littlefinger's demise inevitable. The early pretension of GOT was it broke the mold. It hasn't. The conclusion to this story has been obvious from the beginning.

I know you don't like her (not that it would keep you out of her pants if given the opportunity) but did you even watch the tree scene? She realizes she was a stupid girl (her words) who didn't appreciate how good she had it in Winterfell, with family around etc. She is staying in Winterfell, that's her end game. Once they know Jon's parentage...she'd be a cousin, and fair game to marry Jon.

I'm with you that Sansa was utterly clueless and that that stupidity cost her family dearly, but she has changed, even if she's not suddenly a genius.

Howland Reed was also at the Tower of Joy. He hasn't been mentioned on the show other than in flashbacks, but he could show up at some point. Meera and Jojen were his kids.
