Do I understand things correctly that Texas has agreed to share its LHN revenue for six years?

No, I think they said tier 1 and 2. I believe LHN is tier 3 content. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Not even that..... they just "talked about it." No one agreed.

Tier 3 goes to the school, but the way I understand it, there won't be much content on Tier 3. BYU can keep their network too.

That has to be a good thing in terms of getting BYU to join up.

AQ Conference, big time programs and get to keep your tv network...sounds good BYU, here's a pen!

OK this is what I got from ESPN:

The Big 12's presidents pledged to grant their television rights to the conference for six years, Oklahoma president David Boren said at a news conference on Thursday.
No contracts had been signed yet in part because some schools must get the approval of their governing boards, league spokesman Bob Burda said.
And this:

The Big 12's presidents unanimously agreed to give the conference their media rights, though Texas AD DeLoss Dodds expressed reservation about doing so in a meeting with local media in Austin on Wednesday.

I guess things are still up in the air.

But wasn't the OU's big demand to get restrictions on the LHN and ask for revenue sharing of the LHN?

That was before they learned that the PAC 12 voted down expansion. Now that they have no other alternative, they have lost all of their leverage. They were able to get rid of Beebe, but they won't get all of their demands.
