It is going to be historic no matter who wins. With the way Fed is playing it is hard for me to bet against him.

Will the moment be too much for Murray to handle? The crowd will moan with disappointment every time Murray misses a shot.

Yeah, but Murray is playing great, too. I sensed a confidence in him yesterday that I hadn't seen before.

If he could win on Friday, he can win on Sunday. Just getting into the final was great pressure.

I think I'm going to root for both. I'm a Federer fan and a Murray fan.

Federer deserves this. No one has given more to the sport or been a greater ambassador for it.

I think this is Fed's last stand. Another Wimbledon title, another turn at #1, and a gold medal. If he accomplishes those things, I bet you'll see him start to fade dramatically. He's held out for this moment in this year, but he's old in tennis terms, his legacy is secure, and his daughters are rapidly approaching an age where they need to be settled.

Murray played well on Friday, but Tsonga didn't serve well and was mediocre at net. Those are two things Federer normally does very well. If he does so tomorrow, he wins it.

Well - given the recent events can you really be surprised that I open this thread thinking it involved a discussion of a court case between the government and an unfortunate individual surnamed Murray! Surprise - a court 'case' of a very different nature!!!

Too much pressure for Murray, going with Federer to win.

If Murray wins, does Henmen Hill get renamed?

Rooting for Murray, but predict Fed 6-4, 7-5, 6-3

It's raining, the match is scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m., EDT, it takes 45 minutes to close the roof and the roof is still open. The Wimbledon officials are still struggling with the use of the roof. Are they going to choose to have a delay in the start time instead of starting the match with the roof closed?

They did this same silliness during the women's final. They didn't close the roof, then there was a rain delay, they still didn't close the roof, and they were fortunate not to have further delays.

If it's threatening rain, why not just close the damn roof? I get that it changes the court in a fundamental way, but I'd rather that than a final fraught with delays.

I bet the atmosphere in that stadium is electric. Well, as electric as the stoic British can be.

Kate and Pippa sitting in the royal box. What a tough life they have found themselves a part of.

It's an outdoor tournament. I agree with the decision to not close it unless it's actually raining. And the delays are still better than what happened before they had a roof.

So I correctly predicted the *score* of the first 3 sets ... just missed that Murray would win set 1.

One set away from a 7th title and the number 1 ranking. Not bad for an "old" man.
