FA Cup 4th round this coming weekend. 32 teams remaining (1 from League 2; 6 from League 1; 10 from League Championship; and 15 from PL). There's only 2 all PL matchups: S'hampton v CP and Spurs v Leicester. I'm curious to see if the likes of Bournemouth, Derby, Middlesbrough play all their regulars, or get their key players some rest as all 3 are vying for promotion to the PL, and all clumped together in the top 4 with only 4 points seperating 1-4 (and all have league games either middle this week or middle next week).
Friday:
Cambridge United (League 2) vs. Man U.
Saturday:
Southampton vs. Crystal Palace
Blackburn (League Championship) vs. Swansea
Chelsea vs. Bradford (League 1)
Derby (League Championship) vs. Chesterfield (League 1)
Preston NE (League 1) vs. Sheffield United (League 1)
Birmingham (League Championship) vs. West Brom
Cardiff City (League Championship) vs. Reading (League Championship)
Liverpool vs. Bolton (League Championship)
Spurs vs. Leicester
Man City vs. Middlesbrough (League Championship)
Sunderland vs. Fulham (League Championship)
Sunday:
Bristol City (League 1) vs. West Ham
Aston Villa vs. Bournemouth (League Championship)
Brighton & Hove Albion (League Championship) vs. Arsenal
Monday:
Rochdale (League 1) vs. Stoke

Lots of hangovers in Cambridge this morning. Huge draw against Man U, and a trip to Old Trafford.

Chelsea, Swansea, City, Soton all go bye bye. Fun morning.

Parent Company out.
Loved watching that game. Wish I was able to see the Chelsea debacle too.

Glad my Swansea disgrace wasn't on tv......

I really want to gloat; but, agreed seeing today's results, I'm refraining until tomorrow after Arsenal (better) takes care of business with Brighton.

Today was epic. City, Chelski, Sansea all falling to lower division sides. Spurs doing what they do best - snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. S'hampton falling United with the draw last night, and Liverpool draw today. A fun day of footy for any impartial observers.

OK, I can brag now as Arsenal prevails, though I am not thrilled that they jumped out 2 to 0 only to just barley hand on for a 3 to 2 win against Brighton.

The Hammers move on thanks to A. Carroll.

Thanks for ruining it.

Hopefully David Stern has the draw and serves up Villa at WBA.

They can't score, that would be a good match up. And a big rivalry game too.

Instead WBA gets the best team that is already through to the 5th round.

All those ducks and they draw West Ham.

That's a tough one. Probably will be an ugly game.

Here's the draw for the 5th round. Arsenal and Man U continue to get the benefit of the draw (assuming United take care of Cambridge). All the replays from 4th round ties are next Tues & Wed.

Feb. 14/15 Crystal Palace v. Liverpool or Bolton
Feb. 14/15 Arsenal v. Middlesbrough
Feb. 14/15 Aston Villa v. Leicester
Feb. 14/15 West Brom v. West Ham
Feb. 14/15 Bradford City v. Sunderland or Fulham
Feb. 14/15 Blackburn v. Stoke
Feb. 14/15 Derby v. Reading
Feb. 14/15 Preston or Sheffield United v. Cambridge or Man U.

Ok I gotta ask....why is the stadium half empty for the FA Cup match for WBA? This isn't specific to them either. I feel like the majority of times I flip on a FA Game that half the stadium is empty for the Premier League teams. I somewhat get it when they're playing a lower tier team but this is West Ham vs West Brom. Plus it's late in the cup. So why the poor attendance?

My guess is that the tickets are done kind of like how they do NIT tickets. No student section (no fan supporters section). All the prices are jacked up?

Just an observation and was curious if anyone knew why this happened.

I listen to talksport a lot. It seems like the Premier League clubs are having issues filling stadiums for anything but non league matches. Some of it has to do with cost and some is due to lack of interest. For WBA, West Ham ought to be a sexy enough opponent.

I have also heard that Man City has had issues filling the stadium for league games. They also had lots of empty seats for Champions League as well.

Guaranteed one non Premier League team and only two heavy weights if Liverpool can win. Interesting for sure

On a side note....watching the FA Cup or lack of being able to makes me appreciate NBCSN's coverage of EPL. On Saturday there were a number of games on and yet no where to be found on cable....many games on FS2 just so they can carry Daytona 500 practice on FS1?? I don't get FS2 in HD on Cox so pretty awful if you ask me.

I don't get FS2 at all. Highly annoying.

I hope Liverpool gets Man U/Arsenal winner (United) in one semi, and Villa gets Reading in the other.
