Did he play in Patriots/Saints exhibition game last night.

Only saw portions of first half, and no Brown appearance that I could recall.

With the commentary my brother stated was in a recent Connecticut Post interview, he said Belichik (sp ?) had nothing but high praise for Donald.

I hope it wasn't a smoke screen offered to a CT newspaper.

If he played, how did he do?

Earlier in the week I saw his name on a list of players that missed practice. He was listed as a hamstring injury.

Donald is a very smart and disciplined guy - Coach Bill likes that type of player.

Missing time with a hammy when your competing for a job in the pre-season didn't help him.. I still say he ends up with a team this upcoming season before it's all said and done.

Tough break for Donald. Face it, once these guys reach the pros they're nothing more than disposable commodities. It's interesting how often the NFL players I speak to miss the camaraderie and team unity they had in college.
