Their selection of wild card sports is interesting. We may be even higher if baseball and field hockey were options!


Also, they cite the directors cup in that article which is the most respected of these rankings.

Baseball was included for the the wild card spot, but they excluded field hockey, a sport where UConn won back to back national championships not all that long ago. I have to think UConn could move up in the rankings once the long sought improvements to the soccer, baseball, and softball facilities becomes reality.
