Boneyard donation to UConn cardiac center

The posters on the men's board wanted to find a way to show Jim Calhoun how much he is respected and appreciated by UConn fans. Upon speaking with JC, it was decided to raise funds, $25,000 to be exact, to buy a bypass pump for the Jim & Pat Calhoun Cardiology Center at the UConn medical center. According to the UConn Foundation rep that's been posting on the men's board, there is $25, 650 pledged of which $25, 050 has been received.

Just wanted to come by here as well to thank everyone who contributed. As of this AM, we're at $26,255, and there is at least one check inbound, plus employer matching gifts, that will go toward the cardiopulmonary bypass pump as well. This was seriously an amazing, and touching, tribute to Coach, and we just wanted to say thank you again.
